My research
has focused primarily on the synoptic gospels (including issues surrounding the
"historical Jesus") and the Pauline literature of the New Testament, as well as
the Septuagint. One topic that I have explored in a variety of contexts is the
understanding and role of Torah in Second Temple Judaism, in various early Christian
writings, and in modern scholarship devoted to the period. Currently I am engaged in
rewriting and updating my monograph Israel's Law and the Church's Faith: Paul and His
Recent Interpreters. |
