The Rev. Carol "Kate" Penfield is Executive Director of the Ministers Council of the American Baptist Churches/U.S.A., in Valley Forge, PA. She previously served as pastor at First Baptist Church in America, and at Central Baptist Church, both in Providence, RI, and has published a number of sermons.
